Discover-Tech Ltd. – Legitimate Interest Disclosure

In accordance with the Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) of IAB Europe and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Discover-Tech Ltd relies on **Legitimate Interest** as the legal basis for specific data processing activities that do not require user consent but are essential for maintaining a secure and functional digital advertising ecosystem.

1. Processing Activities under Legitimate Interest

We process limited technical data (such as IP addresses, technical device identifiers, and connection metadata passed via real-time bidding (RTB) streams through our infrastructure partners like Beeswax and authorized exchanges) strictly for the following purpose:

Special Purpose 1: Ensure security, prevent and detect fraud, and fix errors

What we do: We perform automated security checks, invalid traffic (IVT) detection, bot filtering, and user authenticity verification.

Why it is necessary: These measures are vital to protect advertisers, publishers, and users from malicious activities, ad fraud, and technical system failures, ensuring a safe and reliable programmatic advertising environment.

2. Legitimate Interest Assessment (LIA)

We have conducted and documented a Legitimate Interest Assessment (LIA). We have determined that our processing is necessary, proportionate, and strictly limited to what is required for fraud detection, cybersecurity, and system error resolution. Our legitimate business interests do not override the fundamental rights and freedoms of data subjects.

3. Your Right to Object

Under Article 21 of the GDPR, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data based on legitimate interests.

If you have any questions, wish to exercise your rights, or want to object to our data processing under legitimate interest, please contact us at:
